at Sea
Our Novel Passages Book Clubs are a fusion of book discussions and
exotic experiences. The heart of a book’s setting - its culture,
history, and landscape - unfolds in your imagination, your
discussions, and before your eyes.
With activities ranging from moonlight deck sessions to early-riser
coffee chats, we have a book club format to fit your cruising and
discussion style. Each club is guided by expert hosts, who start
meetings off and pop in from time to time to throw in unexpected
ideas. Moreover, our guest authors like to drop by, giving you
far more intimate experiences with authors than traditional reading
or lecture venues offer.
We like to create flexible and creative formats for each cruise so
guests can tailor their experience. You can join just two or three
discussions or participate in a club nearly every day of your
adventure. You can bring your book club and stick together for
discussions or split up. Traveling alone or with a friend? There’s
nothing like a shared reading-traveling experience to bring new
friends together.
Our philosophy is simple - book discussions should give you greater
insight, not just into the novel and author, but into your own life,
your relationships, hopes and fears. We encourage discussions
ranging from literary to personal, from frivolous to profound. We
want guests to explore the ideas of a novel along with the
landscapes into which they journey.
